Product security is a craft. We built a guild around it.
Product Security Guild is a team of senior practitioners who secure regulated and safety-critical products. Leadership, engineering, testing, regulatory evidence, and lifecycle support come from one group, not from a chain of handoffs between vendors.
The name is the operating model.
A guild is a body of practitioners who hold a standard, train the next people into it, and are proud of the work that carries their mark.
A specialized craft
Product security is its own discipline, not a task bolted onto an engineering or IT role. It is learned by doing it repeatedly, on real products, under real review.
Multiple disciplines, one team
A connected product needs embedded, software, cloud, regulatory, and risk expertise working the same problem at the same time, not queued behind each other.
Make safety-critical products more secure, resilient, and trustworthy by helping organizations turn complex cybersecurity risks, regulatory expectations, and technical challenges into practical engineering solutions throughout the total product lifecycle.
Our Five Truths
Practical and defensible security
Every control, document, and test result should survive one question: why is this adequate? If it cannot answer that for a regulator, a customer, or a court, it is decoration.
Technical quality and professional judgment
Findings get assessed, not counted. A severity rating that ignores how the product is actually deployed and used is noise, and it costs you the budget you needed for the real issue.
Clear communication and transparency
Plain explanations of what we found, what it means for the product, what it costs to fix, and where we are not certain. Uncertainty stated up front is cheaper than uncertainty discovered later.
Collaboration across disciplines
Security decisions land on architecture, safety, quality, and regulatory. We work with those teams rather than around them, because a control that the product team will not maintain is not a control.
Security throughout the product lifecycle
Premarket evidence is the opening, not the finish. Products stay in the field for years, and the vulnerability, disclosure, and support obligations follow them the whole way.
Meet the Guild

The Architect
Designing the Guild’s path from complex risk to secure products.

The UARTist
Securing the Guild’s frontier where hardware, firmware, and signals meet.

Mage Against the Machine
Turning the Guild’s software craft against the machine.

The Catalyst
Bringing the Guild to those who need us.

The Stacksmith
Forging software, cloud, and automation into tools the Guild can trust.

The Forgekeeper
Keeping the Guild’s engineering fire focused on resilient products.

The Packet Warden
Guarding customers’ products, one defensible decision at a time.
How can we help?
Bring a product, a submission deadline, a deficiency letter, or a question you have not been able to get a straight answer on. We will tell you what it takes.
