Accessibility Statement
The Product Security Guild wants its website, content, and contact paths to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
Our accessibility target
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2 Level AA. WCAG provides testable criteria for making digital content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and compatible with assistive technologies.
The website has not yet completed an independent accessibility audit. We do not claim full WCAG conformance at this time. We will update this statement after testing and as material issues are corrected.
Measures we take
Our accessibility work includes:
- A consistent heading structure and page hierarchy.
- Semantic HTML for content, navigation, forms, buttons, and disclosure controls.
- Keyboard access to navigation, forms, accordions, and other interactive elements.
- Visible keyboard focus.
- Sufficient text and interface contrast.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and empty alternative text for decorative images.
- Form labels, instructions, required-field identification, and understandable error messages.
- Content that supports zoom, text resizing, and reflow on smaller screens.
- Controls that do not rely on color, position, sound, hover, or pointer input alone.
- Reduced-motion support where motion is used.
- Captions, transcripts, or equivalent alternatives for time-based media we publish.
- Accessible documents or an accessible alternative when a document format creates a barrier.
- Manual and automated testing as part of design, release, and maintenance.
Known limitations
No known limitations have been identified at this time. If you encounter a barrier, we want to hear about it, and the feedback details below explain how to reach us.
Some third-party content or services may be outside our direct control. We will work with providers where practical and offer an alternative way to access important information or complete a task when possible.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, need content in a different format, or need help completing a task, contact us at:
Email: admin@prodsecguild.com
Contact form: prodsecguild.com/contact
It helps if you include:
- The page address or name.
- What you were trying to do.
- What happened and what you expected to happen.
- Your browser, device, and assistive technology, if you are comfortable sharing them.
- The format or accommodation that would help.
We will review the request, respond as soon as reasonably possible, and provide an alternative where we can. We will not require you to disclose a disability to report a barrier or ask for assistance.
Compatibility
The website is designed for current versions of commonly used browsers and assistive technologies. Older or unsupported technology may not provide the same experience. Accessibility should not depend on one specific browser, device, or assistive technology.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is part of our design, content, and maintenance process. We review new pages and material changes, correct confirmed barriers based on their impact, and revisit this statement as the site changes.
